Service and treatment is available for adults who suffer from mental illnesses like schizophrenia, major depression, bipolar disorder, and other disabling mental disorders that need crisis resolution. El Paso Mental Health & Mental Retardation also provides support services for those who suffer from mental retardation. Early childhood intervention is available, as well as care for children and adolescents who suffer from emotional disturbances. El Paso Mental Health & Mental Retardation hopes to build a strong community, through helping solve their problems and mental illnesses, especially for children that have been emotionally affected from growing up in poverty, drug abuse and violence.
