Best Creme De Menthe in town Sal, first off, is a wonderful Italian gentleman who is friendly and courteous. And, I don't know where he got it, but he has the best durned Creme De Menthe in all of El Paso. The bottle is old and dusty, and the label is so worn and faded that we can't make out the letters. But, I will tell you this it goes down like the sweet sweet nectar of the gods. Once I had a few too many, because they are so good and Sal was nice enough to call a cab for me! My Ethel wasn't too pleased, but at least I didn't drive!

I have been going to Sal's for years. This is the place if you want to meet real people. Not plastic. My wife Sylvia, the barmaid, works hard to run the place and keep people happy.
Sal himself, some calls him grumpy old man. But if you understand Italians when operating a business, he is great. Business man at work, normal outside of work.
This is a great small place to be.
