For more than 25 years, Wet N’ Wild Waterworld has offered exciting summer fun in the sun with slides, wave pools, climbers, picnic areas, festivals and much more. There’s something for everyone to enjoy at Wet N’ Wild. First, hang-ten in the Wild Island Wave Pool, go rafting on the Raging Rapids and wind things up on the Corkscrew. For thrill-seekers, take a ride on the Amazon—plunge down 50 feet through crashing water and dark tunnel twists, landing in the Wild Island Wave Pool.
One of the newest rides at Wet N’ Wild is the Alien Vortex—a chilling encounter of the alien kind, this ride will toss you around with G-force speed complete with drops, twists and curves. Then, climb up the 16th foot Slipper Rock for a bird’s eye view of the Lagoon.
For the kids, check out Toddlers Cove, Katcha Kiddie Creek, Little Rio Grande and the Old Lady & the Shoe—a double slide with a nursery rhyme theme designed especially for infants and toddlers. Over at Price’s Treehouse, bigger kids can enjoy 418 feet of twists and turns as they explore.
Water play isn’t all there is to do at Wet N’ Wild, with more than 200 shade trees to enjoy relaxation, a picnic or a barbecue on the lawn. You can bring in your own food and drinks, but glass containers are not allowed. Also, enjoy some great summer events, including the Balloon Fest during Memorial Day weekend and the Norteno festival in July.
Pick up a season pass for $40 and enjoy the adventure at Wet N’ Wild all summer long. Toddler season passes are $12. Purchase daily tickets and season passes on line. Many of the park rides require an air tube to ride -- rentals are $5 each. Barbeque grills can be rented for $13-$16 and lockers range from $9-$10, so you can store anything you bring to the park while you play in the water for safe keeping.
