Ross is an amazing school. Diverse. Successful. The teachers give a darn and the administrators run a tight ship. Fantastic test scores for 2008! Some of the best math scores in the county of El Paso and they are above the state average.

My daughter has attended Ross this year. I have not been pleased at all. When I leave messages for teachers, I am rarely called back. The office staff is rude. The principal is great but, cannot be every where at all times. My daughter is in GT and the level of work is great. It is hard to learn if the environment is not right. She has been hit in her classroom by another student. The teacher keeps putting them in the same group to help them get along. Only in school would you force a victim to be around the aggressor (bully). I think we will be looking elsewhere for next year.

This is a great school.I attend to this school and I love it!The principal is nice and 'funny' and my teachers are smart, nice, and kind.I think there is a lot of extracurricular activities like science club and UIL math, spelling, writing and other things.Parents are also involved in some activities like the mother/daughter or father/son programs. It is safe because we have a police officer taking care of us.My principal, Mr. Tanner is really strict if something bad happens.Even though he is strict, I like this school and I would like to come to this school and have fun!

Ross is a well recognized school. It has the greatest number of Gifted and Talented students in the city. In this school, you can pick lots of extracurricular activities like you can get in orchestra or band or choir or art.there are also tons of activities involving parents like the mother daughter program or the father son program.thereare many clubs like science club or UIL.

My son is attending the 8th grade class of Ross. I have found the level of communication at a very high level. All the teachers and Principal return phone calls and/or emails. Teachers have schedules to stay after school for tutoring in all subject and all grades. My sons grades have improved and his attitude concerning school. The teachers are dedicated and committed to the students.

I am very happy with this school, my son who is now in 8th grade is very happy with his teachers this year, he has said that his Pre-Algebra teacher teaches them step by step, his other teachers are also very good teachers. The principal is great, when a matter comes along that requires his attention, he tries very hard to resolve it. The only bad thing about this school is the traffic, they need to improve the situation when it comes to picking up the kids after school. My son and I will miss this school after he leaves this year to go to high school.

Great school! It struggled in the last five years with a five new principals, but jumped from 11th place to 4th place in the district in a one year period. Teachers and staff are very dedicated to the students and parents are very supportive. Great administration, too.

Very happy with this school. My daughter is an eighth grader this year and has had a very successful middle school experience so far. Teachers are very supportive and parents are welcomed at any time. I look forward to experiencing her last year of middle school with her.

I have a child that has attended 6th grade this year. I have been very pleased with the quality of education and the school in general from the teachers and administrators to the students themselves. My son has had a very pleasant year and has enjoyed himself. The environment of learning and quality of programs is good.
